Further to Pakistan’s apprehensions of ‘False Flag Operations’, Shah Mehmood Qureshi has now stated that New Delhi must not resort to any foolish act (on India-Pakistan border), emphasising that Islamabad would be ready to give a befitting reply.
Is India Trying To Negotiate Border Conflict With China Using The Taiwan Card?
In a statement issued on Friday, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said another spying attempt of India was thwarted by Pakistan when a drone was shot down. “Indian drone was violating borders. Indian spy drone came within 700 metres of our territory,” he said.
“India is invariably losing and its surgical strike drama has failed,” Qureshi said. “India is looking for justifications for a false flag operation. My message to India is that no one should be foolish. If India does anything stupid, we are ready.”
Earlier, as EurAsian Times reported, Pakistan Army allegedly shot down an Indian drone that trespassed into the country’s airspace along the Line of Control (LoC), Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) tweeted
“#PakistanArmy troops shot down an Indian spying #quadcopter came from Kanzalwan Sector, intruded 700 Meters on Pakistan side of #LOC in Nekrun Sector,” the tweet read.
This is allegedly the second Indian spy drone in a week that the Pakistan forces have intercepted and shot down near the border. On Wednesday, the Indian drone was tracked and shot down in the Rakhchikri Sector after it encroached 650 metres into the Pakistani territory, according to the ISPR.
“Such unwarranted acts by the Indian Army are a clear violation of established norms and existing air agreements between the two nuclear-armed neighbours. It also reflects the Indian Army’s steadfast apathy towards the ceasefire pact of 2003,” the ISPR said.
Earlier, as EurAsian Times reported, a potential conflict between India and Pakistan was averted by Jammu and Kashmir police when they intercepted a car laden with explosives in Pulwama, South Kashmir on Wednesday.
Timely Action By Kashmir Police Averts A Possible India-Pakistan War?
Experts talking to the EurAsian Times apprehended that had the terrorist somehow managed to denote the vehicle as they did in Pulwama last year which killed over 40 Indian CRFP soldiers, India would have certainly hit back at Pakistan despite tensions in Ladakh with China.
