Pakistan Activates Jaish-e-Mohammed Sleeper Cells For Terror Attacks On India?

Indian intelligence agencies are apprehending a major infiltration bid across the Line of Control by Jaish-e-Mohammed, a Pakistan based terror group. As per the latest inputs received by the Indian intelligence agencies, not only is Jaish planning to launch major attacks in Jammu and Kashmir but also at key economic targets of India including Mumbai.

As reported by Hindustan Times, Jaish-e-Mohammed is gearing up to escalate attacks on Indian forces deployed in Jammu and Kashmir in the wake of scrapping of Article 370 and reorganisation of Kashmir.

Imran Khan has already hinted at Pulwama- like attacks

The latest assessments of Mumbai being under the threat of a terror attack come a day after the Prime Minister of Pakistan warned India of an intensification of attack based on the Pulwama module that claimed the lives of over 40 Indian security forces.

Pakistan army, as well as the government establishment, have gone on record to say that they will go to any extent to express their dissent with the scrapping of Article 370 and the bifurcation of the state into two union territories.

Considerable inputs on Mumbai being on the radar of terrorists

As told by a senior security official to Hindustan Times, a three-member team of Jaish handlers has been assigned to conduct terror attacks on Mumbai and the sleeper cells have already been activated.

The intel also hints at a top Jaish official having moved to Pakistan occupied Kashmir after holding consultations and meetings in Rawalpindi. All these inputs show that the Jaish is already through with its planning and now it’s up to the Indian forces to safeguard India against any such attacks.
