The Indian Army is retaliating effectively after the ceasefire violation by Pakistan by specifically targeting ammunition storage across the LoC along with terror launch pads. According to various military sources, several terror launch pads along the Pakistani side of LoC were successfully destroyed by the Indian army.
These violations and shelling have become a frequent sight along the LoC following India’s decision to lift the special status given to Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcate the state into two union territories in august last year.
A total of 1,565 ceasefire violations took place between August and December after the India reorganized Jammu and Kashmir. The army has not let its guard down and continues to retaliate in these sensitive areas while battling the pandemic too.
Earlier, as EurAsian Times reported citing Indian media reports – the Indian Army said they have aggressively retaliated to unprovoked ceasefire violations by Pakistan by targeting terror launch pads and ammunition storage across the border.
