India has successfully launched an advanced anti-tank missile named Helina. The advanced weapon, Helina is a chopper-launched version built in India which can destroy enemy tanks.

The Advanced anti-tank weapon called Helina can attack within the range of 7 to 8 Kilometers and eject from the Army helicopter. The defence sources informed, saying “The advanced weapon was examined in the full range at the Integrated Test Range in Balasore district, Chandipur”.
The Defence Research and Development Organisation also called DRDO has built Helina, termed as one of the most advanced anti-tank weapons in the world at an expense of 47 million dollars.
The most advanced anti-tank weapon is aided with an Infrared imaging seeker (IIR) working in the lock-on-before-launch mode. It is an advanced version of missiles designed to attack with greater accuracy. This weapon has enhanced the defence capabilities of India.
