Pakistan PM Imran Khan, in a tweet on Thursday, shared an article of prominent Indian author and journalist Khushwant Singh, who predicted where India was headed in his highly controversial book – The End Of India.

Khan Tweeted – “Prophetic words of Khushwant Singh who foresaw where India was headed with its racial supremacist ideology”. Ever since the passage of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, Imran has tweeted about the Narendra Modi government having traits of “Nazi” ideology and warned about the threat of nuclear war.

When it was written, The End of India had elicited fury amongst many people who termed it provocative and insulting. The book was published during the tenure of the BJP-led government of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Earlier, former Indian cricket captain and BCCI President Sourav Ganguly found himself embroiled in controversy after daughter Sana’s Instagram post which quoted the late author Khushwant Singh, who was highly critical of the RSS.
